Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE — set when first published]

seemydrive.com ("seemydrive", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What Information We Collect

  • Account information: your full name, email address, phone number, billing address (street, city, state, ZIP/postal code), and password (stored as an irreversible hash, never in plain text). We collect your name and address for billing/invoicing purposes and your phone number for account security and support.
  • Billing information: payment is processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves. We retain a record of the transaction (amount, plan, timestamp, and Razorpay's payment/order identifiers) for billing and legal purposes.
  • File metadata: to enforce your storage quota and let you browse your files, we keep a record of file/folder names, sizes, and identifiers. We do not read, scan, or access the contents of your files except where required for support you explicitly request, legal compliance, or a security investigation.
  • Technical/log data: we keep minimal request logs (e.g. for rate limiting and security) which may include your IP address.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above solely to: provide and maintain your account and storage; process payments and issue invoices; enforce storage quotas and these Terms; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Protect Your Information

  • Password security: passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and cannot be reversed by us or anyone else.
  • Data isolation: your files and account data are kept logically separate from other customers' data.
  • Encryption in transit: all traffic to seemydrive is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Storage provider credentials: the credentials we use to communicate with our storage infrastructure are encrypted at rest and never exposed to customers or third parties.

Third-Party Processors

We use the following third parties to help provide the Service:

  • Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.
  • A third-party cloud storage infrastructure provider, used to physically store your files. We do not share your account credentials with this provider — only our own service-level credentials are used to store and retrieve files on your behalf.

Data Retention

We retain your account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as required by applicable tax/legal obligations thereafter. If your account is suspended for non-renewal and not reactivated, associated storage may be deleted per our Terms of Service. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Your Rights

  • Access: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: you may update your account information at any time via your account settings, or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any legal/tax retention obligations on billing records.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We use only the minimal cookies necessary to keep you signed in (session cookies). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
